Get Your Co-workers together for a fun 5K - August 27, 2009 Be part of the marathon weekend excitment with the Corporate Wellness 5K. The 5k is ONLY open to members of corporate teams and takes place on the same day, same fun-filled course, same starting line, same finish line, same celebration village as the 1/2 marathon and full marathon participants. Step by Step Challenge - August 27, 2009 Introducing the 2009 Step by Step Corporate Wellness Challenge associated with the Nationwide Better Health Columbus Marathon , 1/2 Marathon and Corporate Wellness 5K! Some program noteworthy facts include: The Step by Step program is a FREE comprehensive wellness program open to all companies with their eye on slashing health care costs, as well as organizations, charities, and other groups/clubs. The program focuses on beginners, yet also challenges the more experienced walkers and runners. Team captains receive motivation/communication templates as well as 5K, 1/2 marathon, and full marathon walking and running training programs! The Step by Step program works! In 2008 we quickly rallied over 700 participants and we anticipate tripling that number this year.! Team registration is easy Choose a team captain and visit www.stepbystepchallenge.com, click on the "Get Started" tab and follow the steps! Provide your team participants with the team name and password, and they register themselves individually.
